According to a study by ScienceDaily marijuana is actually considered to be the wisdom weed.
The researchers of this study examined about 8,000 women from ages 5 to 30.
Their IQ was tested two times while they were children and at the ages of 16 and 30. The women were asked if they used marijuana during the last year. It was discovered that women with high IQs at 5 were 50% more probable than other women to use marijuana at the age of 30.
During this study, the authors couldn’t tell for sure why these women with high IQs were actually more prone to smoke weed. According to an earlier research, smart people are “more likely to like and start new experiences as well as novelty and stimulation.”
They also managed to find out that children with high IQs were more likely to be bullied at school or even be bored, “that will only make you more prone as well as vulnerable towards using drugs and you’ll use this as a means that will help you avoid everything.”
IQ is definitely a controversial way to measure intelligence, because numerous experts claim that intelligence can’t be measured.
These researchers claim that if you do well on an IQ test, you will more likely be further in their lives.
Imagine that you are in a class. The child in the back would probably think that it’s because smart people are actually pushed to do something so that they can get away from the misery in their everyday lives. Another child would probably say that everyone just likes to think out of the box.
You’d probably want to ask some girl that looks like an outcast whether it’s because of her clothes, her purple hair or her long and sharp nails who sometimes smoke weed together why girls that have a high IQ seem particularly keen to use marijuana.
