Most of us have visible dark skin on such skin parts. It is not bad for the health, just for the physical look.
The cause for this is pigmentation named acanthosis nigricans and appears as we age or tan. the skin on elbows and knees is thicker and has more layers. In there we have no glands and oils so the skin gets drier. For the armpits, this is due to shaving creams and cosmetic. For women this is worse and more visible. In the summer especially when people expose the skin. But with a natural method you can resolve this.
1. Aloe vera
Nourishes and brightens. Also erases spots. It makes the skin healthy and fresh. It can fight cancer too. This item is in many cosmetics but you can add the gel on the neck for 20 min and rinse, repeat daily.
2. Baking soda
Exfoliates and removes spots and stains. Mix it with water, 1 part water and 3 baking soda. Put this on the neck and after 5 min rinse. Repeat this 2 times weekly.
They have catecholase for brightening skin. Grind potatoes and use the juice on the neck and after 15 min rinse it. Or mix lemon juice and potato juice and after 15 min rinse it. Do this daily.
Cures for knees and elbows:
It has vitamin c and removes dead skin cells. It makes the skin younger and tones the complexion. Rub this juice and rinse with warm water after 20 min. for better result, add honey too.
Removes dead skin and its granules fix the complexion. Make paste of sugar and olive oil and use it on the skin. After 5 min rinse it of. Do this every week.
Healthy for the skin. Warm the almond oil and use before sleep. Results are seen after a few days. Blend 2 tbsp powder almond and yoghurt as paste. use on the skin and rinse when it gets dry. Do this daily for 2 weeks.
Mix this with curd and the lactose will brighten the skin perfectly just mix 1 tbsp curd, 1 tbsp milk and 2 tbsp flour. Make a paste and after 15 min rinse it.
Brightens the skin and with lemon even more. The cucumber cools the skin even. This is an Ayurveda cure so just mix lime and cucumber juices, add turmeric and lemon, and whiten the skin. The turmeric will also prevent more stains. Place the cucumber circles after that too for cooling off more.
3. Chickpea mask
This brightens armpits and just mix 1 tbsp yoghurt, 1 tbsp lemon, 2 tbsp chickpea flour and 1 pinch turmeric. Rinse with cold water after an hour passes and see clear skin. Do this 2 times per week in the first 2 weeks.
