Often you want to buy breads from markets even though you know they have colors or additives and are NOT healthy. Instead of doing this, make your own bread in your own home and be healthier.
For that aim, we have some delicious home made bread recipes for you, just follow the instructions and have a nice meal.
Yeast DIY bread recipes
*Try to sue the Saf instant yeast since it is not for proofing.
Basic sandwich bread
- 1 egg,
- 1 and 1/3 cup water,
- ¼ cup butter melted,
- ¼ cup sugar,
- 1 and ½ tsp sea salt,
- 4 cups bread flour,
- 1 and ½ tsp instant yeast for bread or 2 tsp active dry yeast.
Mix everything in bread machine or mixer and make a homogenous mix. You can also do this by hand, but this is tedious. Add the flour slowly with time to the mix. When the dough gets stiff, mix another 5 min. cover the dough and let it sit for 20 min until it doubles in size. Divide in number of buns you would like. Grease baking pan aside and put baking paper over that. Lace the bread/buns and bake for 15 min at 350 degrees.
Sourdough bread basic
- 2 and 1/3 cup sourdough starter cup,
- 3 and 1/3 cups flour,
- 1 and ½ cup water,
- 1 tbsp salt.
Mix them all except water. Knead this dough enough for it to be light and to pass stretched between fingers. Shape it like a loaf and let it double in size. Reshape it and then place it on the baking pan. Bake for 30-60 min at 400 degrees.
- 7 oz mashed potatoes,
- 2 and ½ tbsp. honey or sugar,
- 2 tbsp butter softened,
- 3 and ½ cups flour for bread,
- 1 tsp salt,
- 2 tsp dry yeast OR ½ tsp saf yeast.
Make the mashed potatoes, then mix all items in a cooking machine and mix for 8 min while you add the flour slowly. If you mix by hand, mix them all at once, again except flour. Then add it in the end. The dough will be sticky a bit. Let it rise for 20 min and punch it down. Then let it rise again. Bake 45 min on 375 degrees.
- 1 and ¼ cup warm water,
- 1 tbsp sugar,
- saf yeast OR 1 tbsp bread machine yeast,
- 1 tsp sea salt,
- 3 and ½ cups bread flour.
- Glaze: water 2 tbsp, ½ tsp salt.
Mix salt, sugar, yeast and this is done with warm water. Then slowly add flour to make the dough firm. Let this rise for 20 min and punch it down to rise and double in size. Put this in a greased pan and let it rise there again too. Brush the loaf with the glaze and bake 25 min on 400 degrees. This is enough for 1 loaf yield.
