- 1 cake lid
- 750 g of spinach
- 1 large onion
- 150 g of leeks
- 3 eggs
- 150 g of cheese in strands
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 100 ml of cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
The spinach should be washed well. Then, chop it finely. Heat the pan adding one tablespoon of oil. After that, sauté the spinach. The spinach can release a lot of water, so make sure you drain it as much as you can.
After that, add the rest of the oil. Cook the leeks and the onions inside. When you notice they’ve become tender, remove them from fire.
Combine everything together: leeks, spinach, onions, cream, eggs and cheese. Add pepper and salt as you want to. Put the pie lid on a pan or cake tray. Then, add the mixture in it.
Your oven should be preheated. Cook the cake at 180° for 30 minutes. The edges should be golden brown by color. Then, take it out of the oven and leave it to cool down so that you can get it out of the pan.
