We all know that honey has many health benefits and kills bacteria, but experts have now seen that one type of honey kills every bacteria there is.
The European journal of clinical microbiology and infectious diseases said one study is crucial for times when antibiotics are irresponsive to bacteria or superbugs.
Honey of this type is manuka honey or jelly bush honey, from New Zealand. Manuka makers want trademark safety like champagne in France and whiskey in Scotland.
Manuka can remove MRSA and superbugs
Australian report showed that manuka can kill every bacteria and pathogen tested. Use it for curing cuts, bug bites, skin issues.
The best thing is that this honey kills superbugs all the way and they do not appear again, which is not the case with antibiotics.
Dr. Dee Carter of University Sydney school of molecular and microbial biosciences said shelf lives of antibiotics are short and bacteria of attack is more immune. Hard time in recovering costs is the reason why pharma companies abandoned antibiotics. Carter said methylglyoxal is the item that makes manuka so potent.
Where to get manuka
This is seen in every health store and online too, but supplies are getting lower and fake manuka is sold too. Make sure the manuka you get has UMF label or unique manuka factor. Or find this at amazon.com
Comvita manuka is UMF and is found on Amazon, it removes MRSA well.
JoshuaOne9 on Amazon said that this honey removed MRSA well. Sadly, after a while a friend got this too. She had a red bump. Scratched it and saw it is not a bug bite. Her husband knew what this was and put manuka on her skin. After a few hours, she had soothed feeling and relief. After a few days, this was cured.
Manuka honey is a right investment for the health, yet more studies are needed to prove health benefits.
