Here Are 10 Ways Your Body Is Telling You That You Lack of Key Vitamins

Millions of people around the world are suffering from vitamin deficiencies, and they aren’t even aware of it. However, these deficiencies can be quite harmful if not taken care of quickly. The most common deficiencies are lack of vitamin A, D or E, as well as biotic deficiency. They usually manifest through different symptoms, including flaky skin, inflammation, bruises, sores on the mouth corners, acne and skin rashes as well.

Here’s how your body tells you that you lack certain vitamins:

  • If your hair is weaker than before and looks dull, you’re suffering from vitamin B deficiency. To resolve the problem, add spinach and asparagus in your diet;
  • If you have sores on the corners of your mouth, you are lacking vitamin B12. To raise the levels of this nutrient, eat red meat and poultry more often;
  • If you have gray hair, you are definitely lacking copper. Copper can be found in mushrooms and oysters;
  • Dandruff is a sign of fatty acid deficiency and can be eliminated by consuming fish 2-3 times per week;
  • If your skin is rough and patchy, your body lacks zinc and vitamin A. Both can be found in poultry and cantaloupe;
  • Chronic fatigue is a symptom of vitamin D deficiency and can be corrected by adding fish and dairy products in your daily diet;
  • When your gut lacks acid, it won’t be able to absorb nutrients from the food you eat. In this case, you should drink ACV to boost the production of beneficial bacteria in the gut;
  • If you get bruises more often than before, you’re lacking vitamin C. You can find it in citrus fruits, broccoli and apples;
  • Muscle pain is a sign of calcium and magnesium deficiency, and can be prevented by adding bananas and avocados in your diet;
  • Finally, if you’re often suffering from digestive problems, you should up your fiber intake. Fiber can be found in fruits such as apples and vegetables such as broccoli.
