Here is my best and most favorite deodorant recipe. My husband now rides the bike for 70 miles in the sun and still no smell! Also this is great for my girls that need deodorant, it is that age! It is easy for making and for the smell, you can use essential oils.
Recipe for deodorant
- 6-8 tbsp of coconut oil
- ¼ cup of baking soda
- ¼ cup of arrowroot powder or cornstarch
Mix them all and use same ratios soda and arrowroot.
Add coconut slowly and work with spoon or hand blender machine to reach firm and creamy texture. It has to be dryish like market deodorants and applied easily. If this is too wet, add more arrowroot to thicken it.
You can scoop this in an old deodorant dispenser or put it in a small jar container with lid and apply with fingers. This is for 1 cup amount and it can last for 3 months, for 2 people and daily usage.
